Use logical page numbers
If somebody tells me, "see page 72 in this PDF", they are usually referring to the logical page numbers (which are supposed to match those printed in the text), not the physical page numbers. Zathura does not use the PDF's logical page numbers like other viewers, such as evince, do.
Currently if I need to quickly open a PDF and go to a page, I need to either locate page 1 and set offset
, or use 72 gg
and then hunt for the necessary page. Sometimes the last method doesn't work at all, because for PDFs that are cut out of larger articles, the page numbers can be off by hundreds.
