Zathura not displaying "application/octet-stream" files
If a downloaded pdf has a mime-type that states "application/octet-stream", zathura will start but display a black page, the status bar showing “[No Name]”. If started from the command line, one can read “error: Unknown file type: 'application/octet-stream'”.
Obviously zathura can’t know which plugin to load to read the file, and so displays this error. However, since I can’t find a way to change the mime-type of a file (an easy one at least, I understood that I may use the “file” command to change the magic numbers that states the type of a file on Unix but that seems way too complicated for what I want to do: read my pdf), there should be a way around it. Other pdf readers (namely pdf.js on Firefox) manage to read the incriminated file.
I’m using the ArchLinux compilation of zathura, version 0.4.3 with ps and mupdf plugins.
