After selecting texts in the notification bar, it can not be hidden with Escape

Reproduce:

  1. Either select text in document, or search a non-existing string.
  2. Then a notification will show in the bottom.
  3. Select text in the notification bar, actually just clicking the text will do.
  4. Now I cannot hide the notification bar by Escape key. (Edit: neither can I search nor enter commands)

The only workaround is to trigger another bar, e.g., select text in the document again, then Escape. But it should be hidden directly by Escape, just as other situations.

Edit: : or /, i.e., search or enter command is impossible, so they won't trigger any bar.

Edit: The reason I want to select the text is to copy the text into the other clipboard (either "primary" or "clipboard") than current "selection-clipboard".
