Is there a way to "zoom to text width"? Can multiple zoom commands be "macro"ed?

Some pdfs have huge horizontal margins. So when I press "s" for best fit, lots of wasted white space is around the actual text. Since I use tiling wms, zathura fills half of screen but the actual text is hard to read because of margins.
1- Is there an option to zoom to the actual text column and ignore the margins?
2- Can I use a sequence of commands for a customized zoom sequence? For example if I zoom in 5 times in a custom step, it will fit to text. Can I bind a custom key-binding for a sequence of zoom-ins?
Thanks
